"Sheffield's Future eX Wife are so ridiculously, stupidly good, they deserve to be playing in much bigger venues, through P.A. systems that can cope with the lurching, Led-Zep-with-brain-damage racket they nimbly deliver. 2004 probably won't be their year. But it should be."
- Kerrang! KKKK live review
“Future Ex-Wife are a mean proposition, as the barrage of slamming guitars and pummelling drums suggest, you really don't want to get on the wrong side of Future eX Wife"
- Steve Lamacq, Radio 1
“Taking props from classic Sabbath, Led Zeppelin and early QOTSA, Future ex-wife play dirty, whiskey-soaked rock’n’roll. The kind the Blood Brothers would play if Nick Oliveri had drip fed them bourbon, and imprisoned them in a New Orleans strip joint with pole dancers and Beelzebub himself for company.”
